Rewind back to the 16th of this month and what did we have but Hastings Bonfire.
Its always a great bonfire with a really big turn out and lots of great fireworks which always look stuning over the water.
We all met in the usual place at the end of the seafront by the arcades. There were a couple of new drummers and new outfits too, everyone was looking great!
After a warm up and a drum off wth the Lewes tubthumpers it was time to get into line ready for the precession. It kicked off around 7pm.
We were at the back which meant we avoided any kind of fireworks and bangers near the front. There was a great turn out of drummers which meant through the small streets of Hastings it was tight to fit us all in, in our lines of 4 but with such a good turnout we sounded awsome as always. It meant too that Anna and Roz could nip out and take some photos of us drumming to use for the website and Blog.
By 10pm all the fireworks were over and the bonfire nearly burnt and it was getting cold so time to head home. Was a brilliant night.
Now with last week off (no bonfires) this saturday the 30/10/10 we have South Heighton. It starts at around 6:30pm if you would like to come and see us. See you there!!
