Another yearly event for the Pentacle Drummers this one takes place at Middle Farm on the A27 in January. Its an event where they bless the apple the apple trees for a good crop of apples for the year. There is Morris dancing and lots of mulled cider for the evening.
It took place in the evening and was rather cold in the barn but everyone was in high spirits in the barn and drumming certainly warms the group up.
There was a small precesion down to a bonfire in the orchard where the blessing took place than back to the barn for some more entertainment including us drumming and some dancing.
